Biography:
H. Peter (d.10/2001) and Chistel Brahm are both from Wuppertal, Germany. They studied under various masters of stained glass as t Dollman, Eckgold, and Brand. They also attended "Meisterschule des Gestaltenden Handwerks" (Craftsman School of Creative Arts). After completing three years of apprenticeship they served as designer craftsmen. They came to the United States in 1951 where the started business in Massillon, Ohio under the name of Brahm Art Glass Studio. In April of 1961 theu merged with Nobis Decorating Company also in Massillon, where Peter was the chief designer. After some time living back in Germany, they moved to Florida where they retired.
